International Orders Outside the European Union

Import duties, taxes and customs charges

Orders shipped to an address outside the European Union may be subject to import duties, import taxes, customs clearance fees, brokerage fees, handling charges and other charges imposed by the authorities or carrier in the destination country.

Unless expressly stated otherwise during checkout, international orders are shipped on a Delivered at Place (DAP) basis. This means that the recipient is responsible for all import duties, taxes, customs clearance fees and other destination-country charges.

These charges are not included in the product price or shipping costs paid to us. We cannot predict or control these charges, as they are determined by the destination country’s authorities and may depend on the product, order value and local regulations.

Customs delays

Estimated delivery times do not include delays caused by customs inspections or requests for additional information from the recipient. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs authorities.

Refused or unclaimed shipments

If a customer refuses a shipment, fails to collect it or does not pay the applicable import duties, taxes or customs charges, the carrier may return or, in certain circumstances, dispose of the shipment.

Where a shipment is returned to us, any refund will be processed after the item has been received and inspected. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may deduct the actual costs incurred, including:

  • the original shipping costs;
  • return shipping costs;
  • customs, storage, handling and clearance charges;
  • any additional fees charged to us by the carrier.

International returns

Customers must notify us of a return within 14 days of receiving the order by contacting [your email address]. The item must then be sent back within 14 days of the return notification.

Items must be unworn, unwashed, clean, free from perfume, make-up or other signs of use and returned with all original tags attached.

For change-of-mind returns, including returns because of an incorrectly selected size, the customer is responsible for international return shipping, insurance, customs formalities and any associated charges.

Returns must be sent using a trackable and preferably insured shipping service. Customers should retain proof of shipment until the return has been completed.

Import duties, import taxes and customs clearance fees paid in the destination country are not refunded by us. Customers should contact their local customs authority to ask whether these charges may be reclaimed.

Incorrect, damaged or faulty items

If an incorrect, damaged or faulty item has been supplied, the customer should contact us as soon as possible at [your email address] and provide clear photographs.

Where we confirm that an item was supplied incorrectly, damaged or faulty, we will provide the remedy required under applicable consumer law. Reasonable return shipping costs will be paid or reimbursed by us where required.

Statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any mandatory statutory consumer rights. Where these terms conflict with mandatory consumer law applicable to the sale, that mandatory law will take precedence.
